Welcome! We are Carrie & Ann and we are 2 Traveling Mamas. It's so nice to meet you! We are two friends who met through work and traveled for years together to a variety of places and we have LOTS of stories to share from our travels together, separately and with our families. Through our podcast, we'll share tips, personal stories of our own travels and give suggestions/recommendations on how to make the most of seeing this incredible world we live! Hi there - I'm Ann and I love to travel! I've been in the travel industry for over 15 years and enjoy seeing new places with my family, my friends or solo. My love of travel started at a young age, where I would scour through the travel catalogs my mom would get for her work as an outside travel agent in the 80's. I started my own travel company when my son went to kindergarten back in 2017 and I love helping people explore the world and loved designing custom vacation experiences for them. My husband Rob and son Jack also have a love of traveling and seeing the world, so we love to get in as many trips in as we can each year. Follow along to see where we go to next!
Carrie Brandt
Hi - I'm Carrie! I'm a marketing professional with over 25 years of experience. I began as a journalist and then quickly progressed into a marketing role. Carrie started in travel with Northwest Airlines, in their vacation division as a marketing manager, where her love for travel took off. Her and her husband took advantage of the “Free flight perks,” and spent many weekends traveling to as many places they could, crossing their fingers that seats would be open when they showed up at the airport. Carrie and Steve's love of travel has rubbed off on their daughters Maggie and Anna and together, they travel the world! We hope you enjoy our travel stories and it inspires you to go out and explore!
